AVCC would like all pregnant women to know that a preventive dental exam and cleaning are fully covered by Medi-Cal insurance (at NO cost to them). It is of great importance to have a dental check-up to assure that no dental decay goes untreated as after the baby is born, the decay causing bacteria can be passed on to the baby. It is also important for the expecting mother to learn health oral habits for the newborn so that the child starts their development with health habits.
We accept Medical-Cal, Medi-Cal HMO and other commercial plans. If you currently do not have insurance, please refer to the Sliding Fee Schedule for qualification based upon Federal Poverty Level. For more detailed questions or inquiries, please contact us via telephone.

Across the United States, free and low-cost dental clinics play a vital role in making oral healthcare reachable for everyone. Supported by government funding, non-profit organisations, and charitable contributions, these clinics deliver essential dental treatment to those who need it most — including uninsured individuals, low-income families, children, seniors, and people receiving government assistance.
