Staff physicians and volunteer UCLA dental residents screen both children and their parents during medical visits, perform fluoride varnishes on children as needed, and refer patients appropriately. The Clinic staff dental team provides adult dental care, including exams, x-rays, cleanings, root canals, and fillings, as well as referrals to UCLA Venice Dental Center for molar root canals and crowns. Children are referred to UCLA pediatric dental residents.
