This is a SLIDING SCALE clinic. The costs for clinic services are based on either your income or they offer type of financial assistance. Contact the clinic directly to discuss prices for individual services which vary. Sliding Scale does not necessarily mean free.

Services available for children ages 3 through 17.

Services include:


  • examinations,
  • x-rays,
  • cleaning,
  • sealants,
  • restorations (fillings),
  • extractions,
  • root canals.

Children with orthodontics (braces) needs may be referred to private dental services.

Eligibility and cost of services can be determined by calling the dental clinic.

A variety of options exist for families to cover the cost of services.

Charges may be billed to Medicaid, Medicaid HMO, and CMS/uninsured.

Non-Medicaid clients will be charged on a sliding fee scale based upon the family income.


At this time, no adult dental services are provided by the St. Johns County Health Department at this time.
