The Amazing Tooth Bus offers a state of the art mobile dental office which is owned and operated by Hamakua Health Center, Inc. Dr. Ayer and her amazing staff can assist you with exams, digital x-rays, cleanings, extractions, fillings, crowns, root canals, dentures, partials, bridges, and referrals to specialists. Their schedule rotates between Kapa'au and Honokaa spending approximately 3 months at each location. Dental care is an important part of a patient's overall well being and health. Their mission is to educate and start prevention measures at early ages to encourage good oral hygiene habits which will lead to healthy adult teeth. If you know someone who cannot afford dental care and they live in Waikoloa, Hamakua, Waimea or Kohala, the Hamakua Health Center, Inc. will offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to all patients who qualify. They also have financial counselors available to help determine eligibility.
