The dental clinic provides free dental services, evaluations, extrations, and restorations, to patients in Catawba and Alexander counties in NC.
Requirements for eligibility include living in Catawba or Alexander counties and be uninsured. Patients must first obtain a health care card from the Client Services department in the ministry then come to the medical clinic in order to add their name to the list of patients waiting for dental evaluation and care.
Our dental clinic provides cleanings, evaluations, fillings, extractions and patient education, as well as referrals to other dentists and/or oral surgeons if additional work is needed.
We do not provide emergency care or treatment. Dental care in provided by volunteer dentists in the community. Clinic hours depend on the dates/times the dentists are available.
