Joining Hands Health Center is volunteer-operated and has provided free or very low-cost professional medical and dental services for low-income, uninsured adults residents of Jefferson & Grainger County, TN for over 13 years - by Advance Appointment.
In early 2017 Hiwassee College began providing Dental Hygiene appointments at the clinic supervised by Randa Colbert and Dr. Blair Cohen of Cohen Family Dentistry of Jefferson City. Hiwassee brings an RV outfitted with the latest in Dental Hygiene equipment and students in their Dental Hygiene program.
There is no charge for those who qualify. We do ask for a
donation from each patient at every visit to help with the expenses.
