This is a SLIDING SCALE clinic. The costs for clinic services are based on either your income or they offer type of financial assistance. Contact the clinic directly to discuss prices for individual services which vary. Sliding Scale does not necessarily mean free.

Friends In Need is a regionally supported clinic that offers quality and affordable care to the working uninsured in Sullivan & Hawkins Counties of TN as well as Scott County, VA. Payment is on a sliding fee scale based on 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. Dental clinic provides everything from Dental Hygiene, Fillings, Extractions to Crowns, Bridges, and Dentures.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday  8am-5pm  (Closed for Lunch 12pm-1pm)
Friday 8am-12noon

FRIENDS IN NEED HEALTH CENTER provides on-site primary care and dental care as well as referrals to other volunteer physicians and professionals for specialized care.
We serve the working uninsured in Sullivan, Hawkins, Washinton, and Greene counties in Tennessee and Scott, Lee, and Wise counties in Virginia. These include working single-parent families; people who are working but do not have the income to purchase insurance, those who have jobs that don't provide insurance (part time and full) and people who are becoming independent from government-assistance programs.  We also serve those who are currently on social security or disability as well as full-time college students.
